Jimmy Choos aren't just shoes (no rhyme intended). They are an icon. Enough said. This is my one and only pair, waiting until I wear them next (formal perhaps?). Don't worry. Until then, they're safe.

So I've discovered that I'm really bad keeping up with doing a photo of the day. Here, keeping me from pursuing a good photo of the day, is work for the paper I've been writing for the past week. Luckily just finished...33 pages...so now I can post this. This is my favorite room to study in the library. All of the wood and the green lamps give it a cozy, warm, old-world study type of feel. On the plus-side, it was raining, and I didn't feel bad writing my paper in the library while everyone was scrambling around outside with their umbrellas.

I shot the men's soccer game on Wednesday afternoon, and it was held on the practice field. These onlookers were taking in a different perspective of the game from the stands of the normal stadium that the team plays in. The game was lost to the Harrisburg City Islanders.

Long story short, I stubbed my toe on my camera lens and had to get adhesive stiches on Tuesday. The windows at the Health Center looked pretty with the light they were letting in.

This writing was on the wall outside of the Penn State bookstore in the HUB on Monday afternoon. This was basically an ad promoting the Walk-out at Old Main that would take place that afternoon. It went with other chalk writing that was on the building across from it.

This lonely ticket stub was nudged in a crack on the Diner's siding next to the State Theatre. Looks like someone got bored waiting in line for a movie?

On Saturday, a photo of me at the JoePa press conference surfaced as the DOM photo on the front of the Patriot-News. In the photo, it looks like I'm putting down my camera, but I had actually just taken this photo and was looking at it on the screen, since he had already walked by me. I wanted to get his face and the lion in the background, but in retrospect, I realize I should have positioned myself better to get the face and lion closer together. Maybe next time.
